• Taking into account the criteria including plant selection suitable for the climate and topography of the region, water consumption and resistance to disease or insect infestation in tourism facilities
• Limiting the use of chemicals in the maintenance of green areas, opting for the accurate plant combinations that consume less water
• Using the topography and landscape of the area as tourism attraction
• Avoiding landscape and urban sprawl that adversely affects natural views
